Environmental Policy

ASD metal services is the UK’s largest independent multi-metal stockholding and distributor. Offering a full range of extensive processing services we have 38 businesses on 29 locations throughout the UK. We offer a full range of products which include: general steels, hot rolled, cold reduced, organically coated, metallic strip, stripmill, stainless, aluminium and specialist products. We aim to provide total customer satisfaction.

At the heart of the ASD metal services mission statement is our Quest for Excellence which incorporates our Quality, Environmental and Safety policies.

ASD metal services has a strong commitment to the environment; this commitment is outlined in our Environmental Policy below:

The Company will:-
	Comply with all present and pending environmental legislation.
	Strive to continuously improve in the area of environmental management whilst working towards ISO14001.
	Develop waste reclamation schemes within its operations.
	Put procedures in place to prevent any of its operations from directly or indirectly having any detrimental effect on the environment via emissions or spillage's.
	Always seek to use environmentally friendly products and minimise waste.
	ASD metal services will provide adequate information, training and resources in support of this policy.
	This policy has been fully endorsed by the Board of ASD metal services, which accept their responsibility for the development and implementation of this environmental policy.
